Last season, Cannonsburg Ski Area was under new ownership and a number of much needed updates and improvements were made.  From snowmaking equipment to new surface tows, changes were getting visitors excited about skiing and riding at The Burg once again.

Like many smaller ski areas across the midwest, terrain is limited and progression suffers.  I do not believe this has anything to do with who has the deeper pockets but more along the lines of who has the right vision for what a small, local ski hill can achieve.

I can tell you the Cannonsburg team was hard at work all summer assembling a plan for what could be the most changes to take place at a ski area in the midwest.  Park features, runs, rental department, The Shop, everything was under the microscope. Runs have been sculpted to make it easier for skiers and snowboarders to head back out front from the triple lift. With 50+ features in their arsenal, a Banshee Bungee park, 2 new surface tows and signature features, the 6 different parks at Cannonsburg are sure to impress.
