The 2x Olympian (silver medalist) and 5x X-Games medalist, Pro snowboarder Gretchen Bleiler is headed to Michigan to hang at the annual Birmingham Rail Jam hosted by Don Thomas Sporthause on Saturday, September 20th.
Originally from Ohio and hailing from Aspen Snowmass – Bleiler is possibly one of the most decorated female snowboarders of our generation. Though recently she announced her retirement from competitive snowboarding in 2014 (TW Snow), she has been the recipient of multiple Female Snowboarder of the Year for Fuel’s Action Sports Awards, capturing an ESPY and the first female action sports athlete on the cover of ESPN Magazine.
Details of the event have yet to shake out but it will probably includes autograph signing and photo ops with Gretchen and other pros, tons of swag giveaways, new gear to scope from all the manufacturers and of course, the rail jam in the middle of Woodward on Saturday.
