If you remember, last month we headed down to the Birmingham Rail Jam to get our pre-season stoke on. While on-site we were introduced to up-and-coming pro skier Chris Laker. We learned about Chris last year after seeing his edit for Level-1's Superunknown and had an opportunity to sit down and catch up with him about growing up in the midwest, recent travels, gear setup and progression of the sport.
Hailing from the midwest, Chris grew up ripping Perfect North Slopes just west of Cincinnati and has been traveling all over, including a recent trip to New Zealand for the NZ Freeski Open where he snagged 4th in slopestyle competing against Bobby Brown and Russ Henshaw. Watch out for Chris this year as he has his eye set on Dew Tour.
Check out the interview and stay stoked.
Don't forget to check out Chris' 09-10 edit.
