It’s tax day… That means one of two things for many of you, 1. You’ve already filed and received a refund or paid in what you owe to Uncle Sam, or 2. You haven’t filed yet and are scrambling to get your forms done. We decided not to focus on your taxes, but rather help you spend your refund (if you got one). Here’s our list of 10 things we think you should spend your tax money on:
- Spring trips out west – great deals right now and excellent conditions
- 2009/2010 season pass to your favorite Michigan resort
- New gear – take advantage of end of season blowouts
- Summer camp? – Mike our Snowboard Czar sent us this idea on his way back from out west. We think he was frustrated and stuck in the airport and are unclear on whether or not he meant summer camp for the kids or for yourself, so you pick!
- International trips to New Zealand or Chile to shred – their season is just getting started!
- Upgrade your cell phone, snag an iPhone or Blackberry so you can follow us on Twitter and Facebook wherever you go.
- Ski Dubai – 5 runs and 60 meters of vert, year round
- Purchase Blackjack Ski Resort in the UP – it’s still for sale and has good vertical.
- Buy a V.I.O. POV 1.5 video camera for next season.
- Get a tattoo – preferably of your favorite ski/snowboard website’s logo!
