Indian Mountain Resort

Located just east of Bessemer in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula with an annual snowfall of over 17 feet, Indianhead Mountain is a four-season resort destination.  With scenic views of the Ottawa National Forest, the village and resort are located on top of the mountain, a unique layout typically found in western ski resorts.

Indianhead offers a good mix of terrain for skiers and snowboarders of all levels, with the majority of the trails
geared toward the advanced and intermediate.  Ticket and rental prices vary depending on the time of year.  However, check with the resort before planning your trip as promotions and great deals are offered throughout the year.

Keep in mind, Indianhead in collaboration with Big Powderhorn Mountain offer up the Hill Hopper Lift Ticket that is interchangeable between the 2 resorts – No visit to the ticket office required! See Bigsnow for details…
Both on hill and off hill events and activities are ongoing throughout the season including, Mardi Gras on the mountain, slopestyle events and rail jams.  The H.W. Rider Ski Shop is on site to tackle all your ski and board needs, along with all the soft and hard goods you might need for a good time on the slopes.
