In just two weeks, you have an opportunity to see two of the sickest films dropping this season – and we're not talking about your typical Warren Miller event either.  The highly anticipated Poor Boyz Productions 'Revolver' and Dendrite Studios 'Out of the Shadows' will be showing at the Inside Out Gallery in downtown Traverse City on Saturday, October 23rd at 7pm.

Sometime back in July, we got hooked up with the guys at Epic Planks Ski Co. and quickly made the mutual decision that it was time to bring other freeride films to Michigan.  It's not that we have anything against Warren Miller films. Hell, I would be willing to bet most of us grew up in a ski lodge somewhere listening to Miller's voice poke fun at newbies trying to get off a lift.

It's just that with the way skiing and snowboarding has progressed over the past few years, it's time for a new perspective, and we have set out to bring that to your attention by showing you two completely different flicks.  Anybody who follows the film scene knows the progression Poor Boyz has made over the past few seasons.  Each year they amp it up more.  Bigger and better, faster and harder.  On the flipside, you have Dendrite Studios.  Not to be underestimated, these guys are the real deal.  Super passionate about what they do and capture the pure essence of what this culture is all about.

'Out of the Shadows' has already snagged Best Big Mountain Movie at the International Freeskiing Film Festival (IF3), with 'Revolver' capturing the Best Single Shot (360 spine gap in AK).

So enough babble, you need to gather up your friends, the fam, your mom, grandma, whoever, and get out and see these flicks on the 23' screen at Inside Out.

When: Saturday, October 23rd.  Doors open at 6pm with the films starting at 7pm.

Where: Inside Out Gallery – next to Right Brain Brewery (pre/post show brews?)

What: Two of the hottest films to hit the streets.  'Out of the Shadows' and 'Revolver' brought to you by Epic Planks, MiSkiReport (that's us) and Shanty Creek Resorts.
