In case you missed it, last weekend the inaugural Meijer State Games of Michigan – Winter Games took shape over the course of 3-days. This year’s alpine and freestyle events were hosted by Cannonsburg Ski & Ride area just outside of Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Around 2,000 athletes from all over Michigan showed up to represent 13 different categories. Everything from slalom and giant slalom rounding out the Alpine events, to big air, slope style and skier/boarder cross on the freestyle side of things.

From the opening ceremony on Friday to wrapping things up with the close and handing out final medals on Sunday – this was an action packed weekend feature some of Michigan’s top skiers and snowboarders.
