Personally, I am not one for New Year’s resolutions.  Sure they can be fun to talk about, but do many of us actually follow them?  When it comes to miskireport.com, a typical New Year’s resolution happens much earlier than January 1 and involves a bit more planning than ‘I am going to lose 10 pounds’.  Not that there is anything wrong with that goal, it just doesn’t jive well with what we try to do.
Worldcup Snowboarders at Otsego Club
Avid followers might recall the post ‘Change is Good’ from December 2009.  This was not just the start of a new ski season, it was the launch of an entire rebranding for MiSkiReport.  New logo, new website, and taking a step back and really looking at our ethos and the direction things needed to head.  Judging by the positive feedback we’ve received, we’re continuing to head in that direction.

Looking back on 2010, we covered a number of great things.  Consider this twenty-ten, the recap.  Check it out and we’ll see you in 2011 with more changes.

Money Can’t Buy Class | Part-1 | Part-2
We caught up with Michigan native and co-owner of Aspen’s High Society Freeride Co., Jason Flynn, on how he got his start in the biz and growing up shredding hills in the mitten.

Truth in Motion | Road to Vancouver
A great documentary that was filmed prior to the 2010 Olympic Games, and followed World Cup athletes as they prepared for the major event.  This was a true inside look at what makes each racer tick, what drives them forward, and what makes then want to win.

Lindsey Vonn | America’s Girl, America’s Injury
Another great story leading up to the 2010 Olympic Games was that of Lindsey Vonn’s controversial Sports Illustrated cover (hardly), and the recent injury she had to her shin which led to us demystifying what is known as ‘shin bang’.
