In case you didn't notice, winter is back in Michigan as the upper midwest got smacked with a serious cold front that ripped through over the past 10 days and it's not looking to let up!
After a couple weeks of sliding on slush in the fog, these arctic temps are a welcome sign as things were looking pretty grim leading up to the holidays. The photo below from our friends over at aGnarchy.com shot on December 26th at Crystal Mountain. Gross.
Not to worry the super deep freeze has meant game on for snowmaking across Michigan. Add in some great lake effect and we're welcoming winter back in full force!

Many of our contributors got out over the holidays and conditions have flipped 180. The snowpack is building back up and even your favorite glade runs should be doable by now!
Crystal Mountain was back up to near full capacity again around New Years time. A bit of fresh snow (3-4") helped even out the manmade groomers.
Nub's local Jonathan Royle was out getting the goods at Nub's Nob on Friday. Judging by the smile… twas good!
